This is the only drawback to the big girl bed... access to the drawers in the dresser. (This is how I found her when I was going in there to get her up, because I thought she wasn't going to fall asleep. I guess she got tuckered out after all.)

Zoo Shirt

I love my shirt from the zoo! Thanks, Grandma! It's so sparkly it makes me smile whenever I look at it!

8 Months Pregnant

Only 1 month to go, thank God! And maybe not even that long with the contractions I've been having. Who knows...

I don't like barrettes...

... I took this out just as soon as Mommy wasn't looking.

Big Girl Bed
On Friday I also got my very own big girl bed. Here's me saying "Woah" and jumping all around on it!

And here's me sleeping in it for the first time. The crib officially belongs to Ethan now. Mommy and Grandma put his bedding on it and raised it and everything. (When Mommy finishes the decor we'll post a pic of the entire room.)

The Merry Go Round was SO much fun!

I liked stopping and looking into the exhibits.

The lions were my favorite!

I fell asleep with one of my souvenirs from the day- a soft giraffe and matching purse.
What a great weekend!

All Over the Place

We may have a little gymnast on our hands. You should see the ease with which she stands on the chair, climbs over the top of this jumperoo, and stands (STANDS!) on the bouncing center piece, holding on with just one hand. She can even go from there to the couch in the blink of an eye. Good thing urgent care is right across the street- God forbid.

Wumpkin's 1st Bubble Bath

Last night Mommy gave me my first bubble bath.

It was a lot of fun!

I really liked looking at and eating these suds.

Who do I remind you of here? They don't call me little Travis for nothin'!

Cute Things

Before I forget (and until I can get caught up on her scrapbook- yeah, right!) I wanted to record a few of the cutie pie things little Wumpkin does...

- Says "Ni-Na" when I say "Night night." Only once and only at nap time. At night she's just to tuckered out to talk anymore.
- Rushes to the door whenever someone knocks, as if it will surely be someone who's coming to play with her.
- Raises her eyebrows as she scans the pages and "reads" her books aloud.
- Climbs onto the couch, slouches back, crosses her little legs, and looks around to see what everyone else is up to. Such a little person.
- Carries around one favorite stuffed animal for a week, then rotates to a new favorite.
- Tries to put on her own bib and buckle herself into the highchair.
-Immediately after I finish putting a bow or ponytail in her hair, she brushes her own hair with the flat side of the brush.
- Has learned to go to the back door to let the dogs outside as soon as I lay Sophie down for an afternoon nap. She beats me there every time and is waiting with her hand on the doorknob.
- Puts on (or at least attempts to put on) any pair of shoes she can get her hands on. Including Ethan's shoes, which barely fit over her big toe!
-Will help hold the bottom of Justin's bottle when I feed him and the assist in the burping process as well.
-The way she pumps her little arms as she runs excitedly around the house, squealing all the way.
-Shrugging her little shoulders when someone is smiling and talking to her, just eating up the attention.
-Thinks it's so neat to lift my shirt up, poke at my new outtie belly button, and then give Ethan a hug.
(and my very favorite...)
-They way her little arms fold around my neck and she squeezes to give me a long, cuddly hug. That's the best!

7 Months Pregnant

Okay, so actually more like 7 and a half months, but we've been a little busy with the nursery (which is almost done!).

Crazy Hair

On Sunday we had a little fun with my Bed Head. We left it like this all day long.

Crash and Little Tables

Yesterday Mommy took Sophie and I to a new playground. We got so excited as we rolled up in the stroller! I had the best time playing on the big toy... until I fell and hit my eye on the hard plastic slide. Then, as I was running around on the sidewalk (looking at my reflection in the glass), I biffed again, giving myself a fat lip! I bled all over my clothes and cried a bunch. (Here's me later on at home when I was all cleaned up.) When Daddy got home and heard all about it he nicknamed me "Crash."

Check out this table we found near the playground. It was just our size!

17 Months Old Today!

This pic is actually from last week, but Mommy goofed and forgot to take a picture to document. Oh, well. Here I am getting rained on. I don't know how I feel about rain yet.
