Mommy and Daddy tried (the key word here is TRIED) to visit Santa Claus at the mall last weekend. It did not turn out as we had hoped.
Ethan tolerated sitting with Santa, but burst into tears when he looked at him.

I probably would have been surprised if it had gone perfectly. For some reason that jolly old elf is pretty scary to little kids.
