We started off with a well-intentioned craft. Sunglasses decorated with shape stickers. They all had fun with it, but the glasses were too big. Mommy mis-measured. =(
Katie had a blast putting the stickers all over herself and climbing on top of the coolers.
Check out those mouse ears. Love it!
Katie LOVED her cake. And Mommy had so much fun making it. So worth the effort to see the look on her face!
By the time we got to opening presents little K was spent. She opted out of her nap and was pretty tired. So Mommy did the honors and Katie admired all her gifts from the floor or across the room.
At one point she ran into the other room with her thumb in her mouth, climbed into the guest bed, and pulled the blanket up on herself. Not two seconds later she changed her mind and came out again.
It was a super fun day. Thank you everyone, near and far, who helped us celebrate Katie's 2nd birthday!(And a very big thank you to Joe for taking these pictures. Otherwise I wouldn't have anything to post! So busy!)
