Pirates

A couple of weeks ago (woops-once again Mommy is behind) the story at story time was "Shiver Me Letters: A Pirate's ABC's." Here we are paying close attention. (Riiiiiiiiiiiight.)

The best part was the craft. We got cloth headbands and the supplies to make a hook and an eyepatch.

Big Sister even got a complimentary frozen lemonade. Yummy.

It wasn't long before Little E didn't want to be one-eyed anymore.

We sure did a good job.

All the way home, from the back of thee van, Mommy heard, "RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr." It was pretty cute.

Daddy found a great deal on a very gently used big girl bike. Katie is in love. (Don't worry...she put on a helmet right after we took the picture.) She must have spent 30 minutes riding it all around the neighborhood in the hot sun the day she got it. So cute.

Male Bonding

Those darn first year molars are really makin' Ethan a fussy man. He always wants to be held when he's hurt and this is no exception. So Daddy tried teaching him some video game tips.

Mr. Fix It

A week ago the vacuum wasn't working very well.

So Daddy and I used the screw driver to diagnose the problem.

He had to go get something so I took over for a few.

Just call me "Handy Baby E."

Splashing Around

It's that time of year again.

This time last year Ethan was too little to play at the splash pad.

Katie loves it even more than she did last year.

The water was so cold...

...but so much fun.

Can't wait til next time!

Tuckered Out

We have been having a lot of fun hanging with Cousin Kiera a couple of times a week! The other day she got so worn out playing that Mommy found her sleeping like this. It's hard work being a baby.

In the last month Ethan has learned to open an unlocked gate...

...and whine when Mommy takes something away. Bummer.
