His and Hers Bandoliers

Since Mommy started sewing Katie and Ethan have been reaping the benefits. Gen told Mommy about this blog that has fun boy-oriented sewing projects and she came across this tutorial for a toy and snack bandolier.

They are pretty fun, but Mommy needs to remake them in twill. These cutie pie cotton ones just aren't strong enough for a lot of toys.

But, we love them anyway. Maybe Mommy can figure out how to make sippy cup holsters. Now that we could REALLY use.

Easter 2011

The Easter Bunny was good to us, I tell ya.

Here's our tribute to him.

When we woke up I let the kids (Katie) pick out what they would wear knowing that later they would wear their actual Easter outfits. Katie chose her "costume shirt."

So we chowed down on some breakfast and rummaged through our baskets.

Then, we went outside to hunt for eggs.

It was so neat!

Katie found a lot of eggs! After she found a new one, each time she exclaimed, "Let's keep looking!"

When we found all 24 eggs we played...

...and admired our loot.

After naptime we went to GG's house for dinner and ran around like wild little children.

It was so much fun!

Then we read some book given to us from Jocelyn and Mike.

They were so neat. (Thank you!)

And best of all our favorite little cousin, Cousin Kiera was there. Yay!

Look What I Learned to Do

Yup, this is my new favorite activity. And it gives Mommy a heart attack.

She much prefers for me to sit in the chair. Something about how my little feet are so far from the ground and look so cute sticking out under the table... I dunno. Mommy is so weird sometimes.

Spike

Check out my 'do.

This is what happens when I wipe my dinner in my hair. (Mommy cleans it with soap and water and re-does my hair.)

I dig it. I think it makes me look like the tough guy that I am.

Little Buddy Loves His Little Baby

After a few weeks of Wraylyn bring over her little baby and Ethan spending the whole playdate stealing it...

Mommy finally got Ethan a little baby of his own.

He loves holding it, swinging it, and especially chewing on the hands and feet. (???) Now Katie constantly steals this baby from him so we are heading to Target to get another one tonight...

Little Snoozer

Is there anything cuter than a 2.5-year-old who refuses to take her big girl shoes off for nap time?
